My Mother is my greatest artistic influence, at a very young age she passed down her drawing techniques along with her love for Jazz. What began as a simple visual exploration into shape and color slowly evolved into a synesthetic celebration of Black excellence doubling as an ode to the greatest person on the planet, my Mother.
